Hi everyone! The fifth ecosystem is finally here! Get ready to explore the slimy areas of the Sunrise Springs <3
Completing this update in 3 months has been a challenge, but I'm happy it worked out! Hopefully the next update will finally include Sound Effects, which I should have added in ages ago... Still, here's the patch:
Version 0.5
- Added new Ecosystem: Sunrise!
- The ecosystem includes 2 basic enemies and 1 boss fight, fully implemented with their own sex animation slideshow. Let me know if you like this "slideshow" animation style or prefer the short loop ;)
- Added 3 new Jewels that improve Mana. All three jewels are in the new areas to avoid an unnecessary Reset.
- Started adding SFX. This is a major task and I will do my best to finish it in the next update.
- Boss fights now have a custom camera. This is especially useful for the Tentacluster and Lamiacle fights.
- Updated Nest sex scenes to be full resolution (2k) instead of half size. This results in a larger download size, but it's worth it.
- Updated Eggsac sex scene with narration.
- Updated mouse Cursor to be more inline with the vibe of the game.
- Many bugfixes and other smaller changes that don't impact gameplay too much.
I hope you enjoy this update, there's much more on the horizon =D

I found some bugs and errors! ( run it from the rar executable)
So in the new area just before the slime king boss there is a drop with large spikes, and hitting one sent me to this nowhere land, not sure what happened but ı had to quit and renter to spawn by the nearest fountain.
A less important issue is a big amount of lag in the first, second and third parts of the new area, not the upper secret one to the left, maybe a water rendering issue
The giant tentacle boss in the humility caverns has a spawn error where the fountain above him isn't where you get teleported to when fast traveling
And apparently there might be another with the lamia queen as well but ı couldn't recreate it.
But basically when dashing into it while it is reemerging, a collision box error occurs and the player clips through the wall
Also, kinetic energy + sonic boom + blooming heart (explosion on impact) + maid basically kills the last boss in 5 seconds, maybe I just found the best strategy but still, maybe to op with too many connection points it spam attacks him when passing through him, like 50 times
I apologize for breaking the game, I think the new sound design is neat but I feel the movements are very different to the ones before, with a dash cool-down, it's OK, but also potential for new crystals? mind you I just got back on it.

I don't recall changing movements from the last update, but if you played before then, then yeah, 3 months ago I slowed down the movement a bit precisely to allow Jewels to influence it (otherwise it got to the point where it would be strong, but feel terrible to have some jewels equipped)

That's awesome! thanks for finding all these bugs! I did not encounter them myself, but I will try my best to fix them. The fountain and spikes issues *should* be just a matter of me forgetting to set spawn points correctly, as for the clipping through the walls, that could be a matter of 1 checkbox missing, or an animation issue, or something much harder to fix.
That's a neat jewel combination! Just yesterday I designed the full collection of jewels and balanced them all to fit the planned Jewellery rework, the strategy is still possible, but there is now a greater cost to it (one of which is, trigger spells expend small amounts of mana). I also noticed this was super strong, but didn't want to just nerf it to the point of it feeling bad, so I kept it as is for now. Enjoy it while it's available ahaha <3
regarding the lag... I'm not sure what this could be about. If it were a rendering issue, it would happen in all scenes with slime pools, not just some of them. I'll investigate this, see if I can find any solvable issues
You are welcome! I love trying out a few things, I might list all the combos I found about thus far but ı will wait for the combat update, and I do think this might be a neat balancing trick because the new area has the manna improving jewels so it gives the player more incentive to explore!!
I am curious by the way, and I know it is a lot of work as is, but have you considered inert tentacles just for the animation in hidden areas? from the spa gallery, if not, alternative animations for the enemies? just curious
As we speak I encountered another fast travel error where if you choose the cleansing pool it doesn't load anything, and finally when choosing the pool by the slime king it spawns you in the lamia lair
Ok yeah, I see the issues with fast travel. I must have been really tired/distracted when I updated the map lol

There's maybe a couple of non-aggressive tentacles that i'd like to lewd, that handle NPC functions such as a shop of sorts. I don't know if I'll lewd them though, I haven't gotten around to designing their looks either
Ok, I managed to recreate the lamia bug, it was indeed a checkbox missing on the collider, making the collider solid instead of an area volume. All issues are solved (i had to make a workaround for the first one, as I am short on time).

Hi! I just wanted to mention that i've figured out what is making those specific scenes lag so much. it turns out, the new blur tech is a lot more expensive than my initial tests showed.... and, because i'm a dummy, I only used it in 3/5 of the new scenes .-.
